Bus

There are some bus companies who do the Luton airport transfer to London, among the most popular are Green Line and National Express.

Green Line or Terravision
This bus leaves every half hour from the bus terminal opposite the airport and takes you to central London in an hour and a half. This line has several stops in central London, including Marble Arch and Victoria Station, from which you can connect by subway or bus to all areas of the city.
Tickets are priced at 14 euros if you buy them at the counter of the company or 15 euros if you buy them directly from the driver. A good option to save a few euros is to book the ticket online.


National express
This bus service has the A1 line that takes you to Victoria Station with several stops in the center and the A2 that has the final stop in Paddington, both making the journey in just over an hour and a half.
The two lines operate 24 hours a day, with frequencies of 15 minutes during the day, and half an hour during the night.

Train, a good option for the transfer from Luton airport to London

The train is the fastest option for go from Luton airport to London and you can choose between two lines: Thameslink and East Midlands Trains.
Thameslink
This train will take you to Victoria station in just over an hour for 24 euros per person. A good option to stay in London with good communication with the airport is the Victor Hotel, a small family hotel with a good breakfast, located very close to Victoria Station.
It is our last trip we stayed at the Garden Court Hotel, located in the beautiful Notting Hill neighborhood, with the Yellow Bayswater subway stop nearby, which links to Victoria Station.

Staying in Notting Hill is highly recommended.

Private transfer

The most comfortable way to go from Luton airport to London or to your hotel is to book this private transfer.
When hiring this service you will have a driver with a sign with your name waiting for you at the exit of the terminal, which will take you directly to the door of your hotel in just over an hour, depending on the traffic and the location of the hotel.
It is a great option if you are several people, having a price of 88 euros for the 4-seater vehicle, 104 euros for the 6-seater and 118 euros for the 8-seater, which in the end is much cheaper than the taxi.

Cab
