Greek Islands route for free. Travel preparations

After this continental Greece route, which will take us to know some of the most incredible places in Greece, we will start the second stage of Greece for free, on this occasion, with a trip to the Greek Islands.
At this point we have to say that of the 32 days of trip to Greece, it will be 2 weeks that we have to enjoy the best Greek Islands. Initially and taking into account the days we had, we value visiting at least 5-6 islands, although after thinking a little more, we decided that at this time, it was preferable to make this stage of the trip somewhat more relaxed and focus only on 4 islands, enjoying them with more tranquility and thus allowing us to relax a bit on the trip.

Trip to the Greek Islands

We are not going to say that it was easy to choose which were the best Greek Islands and the ones that best fit our preferences, although we were clear that Mykonos and Santorini were essential, being the first time we visited this area of the world.
After giving many laps and taking into account how much they helped us on Instagram when we asked for help to opt for one or the other, we ended up deciding that Paros and Naxos would be the other two islands, next to Mykonos and Santorini, which would be part of the trip to the Greek Islands.

As we mentioned initially, at this stage of the trip, we will also have a rental car in Greece, so we can move again with total freedom of schedules and movements, except for ferry transfers between islands, which we reserve all in advance, being This is highly recommended, especially if you are traveling this season, since in many cases there are fewer than we imagine and they are easily used up.

The first stop we will make in the Greek Islands will be in Mykonos, where we will arrive by ferry from Piraeus and where we will spend the first 3 days, staying in Chora, at the Olympia Hotel.
In Mykonos we will mix visits to different villages with rest on different beaches, in addition to continuing to enjoy a gastronomy that we have not yet talked about and that we are sure, will be another reason we have to return to Greece.

Mykonos

The next stop of this Greece for free will be to go by ferry from Mykonos to Naxos, which they say is the largest and also the most fertile of the Cyclades islands, where we will be practically 5 days, during which we will stay at Athina Apartments Naxos Town and from where we will enjoy what we have read is the most authentic Greece, moving away a little from the crowds that usually concentrate on Mykonos and Santorini.

Naxos

After these days, we will take a ferry from Naxos to Paros, another of the most authentic islands of Greece, where we will be 4 days and we will stay at the Hotel Oasis in Parikia and from where we will combine again traditional and authentic villages, perfect to enjoy the relax and gastronomy, with beach days, in which we hope to find those impossible blue waters that we have seen so many times in photos.

Paros

The end of trip to Greece for free It will be none other than taking a ferry from Paros to Santorini, to enjoy what they say is the best known Greek Island, where we will spend 4 days staying at Gaby Apartments, from where we will end up getting lost in addition to the most tourist places, for small towns and trails that we have read, give some of the best perspectives of this incredible island.
