Where to eat in Ubud

Warung Garasi

Located in Jalan Monkey Forest, opposite the Inata Hotel, in a small adjacent street, this small family-run warung is one of the best places to eat in Ubud in which to taste the delicious Balinese cuisine.
Although it is not very large or ostentatious, the decoration is at least curious, giving a special touch to a meal that we assure you, will not leave you indifferent. Just don't look for luxuries. In Warung Garasi, authentic luxury is being able to taste any typical dish of the area, made at home.

While it is true that it is considered a very touristy restaurant, since some organized groups usually come after our experience, in which we certainly do not agree with any group, we can only recommend it.

The site is surrounded by rice paddies, with ambient music and has a varied menu, mainly focused on fish and seafood, although it also includes some dishes such as mie goreng or nasi goreng.
After having eaten here, we recommend you take different dishes to share with everyone and try different dishes.

Eating at Bale Udang

We have chosen three tapas, one of potatoes (which is battered skin), one of eggplants in tempera and another that is fish, plus three starters, fish and prawns, plus a main dish of carp, two natural juices, two desserts of ice cream in tempura and two coffees for 650000 rupees.
While it is true that it is much more expensive than other restaurants in Ubud, we believe that if we consider the place, plus the selection of dishes, it is a fairly tight price.

Located in Jalan Raya Sanggingan, very close to the Bintang supermarket and with spectacular views of the rice and vegetation area surrounding the Campuhan Rige Walk or palm tree path, the Elephant Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Ubud.

We recommend you try the pad thai, natural juices and as a dessert the coconut ice cream from the Gayan ice cream parlor, one of the most recommended ice cream parlors in Ubud.

Considered as the best meat restaurant in Ubud, this restaurant located right next to the ARMA Museum, in Jl. Raya Pengosekan no. 108, has a letter based almost entirely on meat, which you show directly on the table.
The price is per 100 grams of meat ranging between 95,000 to 110000 rupees, depending on the type of meat and the minimum you can ask for is 200 grams.
