Day 24: LOMBOK: GILI ISLANDS (GILI TRAWANGAN) - MATARAM - YAKARTA

Today was a strange day. As they are usually the last days of a trip and more on this occasion that will be practically all transfer from the Gili Islands to Jakarta.
We spend the morning to take advantage of the facilities of the Villa Ombak of the Gili Islands, because the truth is that these days we have been little time in them ... or at least enjoying them 🙂
At 12:30 noon, a speedboat comes for us at the pier of Villa Ombak and takes us after 15 minutes and we are already riding in the taxi that awaits us on the other side to take us to Mataram airport.
From here we have a flight that will take us from Gili to Jakarta, where we will spend tomorrow until our flight to Spain leaves.
We found a small airport, like the rest we have been to in this trip to Indonesia, but much busier.
We wait for you to announce our flight when what was foreseeable happens and had not yet happened to us within the country: the flight is delayed! But not once or twice ... in the end they are 3 times the ones that delay it !!

We leave 3 hours late, so after a flight of just over an hour, we arrive at Jakarta.
We collect our bags and as we know the airport of Jakarta On the first day we arrived (it seems a lie that the holidays have already passed !!) we soon leave with the departure.
It took us a little while to find the tail of the Blue Birds, which are the taxis that have recommended us to take.
In the end, after several queues, we find the right place and face a good caravan until we reach our hotel, the Hotel Santika Premiere Jakarta, which this time is in the center of the city of Jakarta.
We arrived to check in and almost without more strength we go to bed and do not even have dinner.
I think we can't even wish good night. But we can dream about the paradise we have left behind ...
