Niwas means home. And in the Chandra Niwas You will really find a home away from yours. This is the strength of this Homestay: they make you feel at home.

Samvith and his family are not only excellent hosts, they are also incredible people: they manage their small Homestay and at the same time a travel agency and a charitable foundation of which we will talk to you shortly.

The house consists of a few very cozy rooms, a terrace where you can hang out, a common room where you can play, watch TV and have breakfast (the best potato parathas we have tried!) And a garden with an organic garden .

And we don't forget Donna, the most plump pet in all of India, super nice and playful ... how beautiful she is!

The days we have spent at home have flown and we have felt very comfortable and spoiled: they even made me rice with yogurt one day that was bad! In addition we could know the reality of Udaipur beyond the tourist center that many times, tourists and travelers find it difficult to leave ... so for example we discover the best chai in the city on the shore of the lake and the foundation of Samvith in a village to the other side of the mountain, but this we will tell you in another post!

To get to the center it is enough to stop a shared tuctuc that for 10 rupees takes you to Hatipol, from there in 10 minutes walking you arrive at the most important temple in Udaipur. On the way back from Hatipol take another tuctuc towards Bedla Road, say stop at Link Road. All this is explained in the Homestay in detail.
