June 2, today is a special day. We have been waiting for you since, back in late January, we decided to book a watch with Apollo to drive one of your motor homes just outside the factory. Destiny? Travel most of Route 66 to deliver it to your Los Angeles office. But that is still far.

We get up at 6 in the morning, nothing more or less than in a Minneapolis Airbnb house. Who was going to tell us a long time ago that we would stop by? And how many times on this trip have we repeated the same question? Many! We put on our backpacks and take the train to the airport.

Yes, going to the airport has a reason: from there and only from there does the bus that Apollo has hired leave to take all the relocaters (to call us in some way) to the factory. The driver passes the list: Schneider, Van Damme, Bomdick ... it seems that he is singing the alignment of the Dutch team ... I do not know why the vast majority are from there ... we will have to investigate more.

Two hours are what it takes to reach the remote town of Forest city, in the state of Iowa. It is the town of the motorhome factories, with ours we have at least another 3 more. A new surprise They give us the pertinent explanations and take each one to their new home ... and the first thing that comes to mind when you approach yours is "Can I really drive this truck?". You have no more Robertito balls ...

The new adventure begins here, in a town lost in one of the huge midwest states, crossing small roads, then larger ones and then again smaller ones. Deviating to try to know towns and local life, with the excitement of a small child when seeing the snow for the first time, but with the 5 senses put in not shit it, that we are driving a very very expensive gossip!

And another adventure, although this time something less exciting, is not to get lost in the Walmart! Possibly the cheapest supermarket in the US, a mega surface where you find everything and in sizes for all tastes and families. We make the purchase for a few days worth $ 82 and fill in all the holes in the motorhome. Now it is complete, we can follow the route.

We made a total of 250 miles on the first day, to reach a little lake where we spend the first night. We are already in the state of Missouri
