To help you in planning your trip to London, we have prepared this article where we recommend the best 3-day itinerary in London, to enjoy your visit to the British capital to the fullest.

It is a perfect tour for those who will visit the city for 3 days and want to see a little of everything: culture, gastronomy, markets, parks, monuments ... Are you ready? Let's go!

If you want more information, visit our LONDON TRAVEL GUIDE

We advise you to start the day in the most British heart of London: the Palace of Westminster (1), with the famous tower of Big Ben (2) although now it is in works and until 2021 it will not show its best face again.

From here, if it is early, it is best to pay a visit to the Westminster Abbey (3), which is within walking distance (you can book your visit online here). And get to see the changing of the guard (remember that it is at 11.30 in the morning!).

If for one reason or another it has already become late (the plane arrived late, you have fallen asleep, you have had to go back to the hotel to put on another layer of clothing), a good idea is to go to know the British Museum (4), where time will fly between one mummy and another (you can join a guided tour in Spanish).

For the night the best plan is in the neighborhood of Soho, one of the liveliest in the city. There you will enjoyTrafalgar Square (5), Picadilly Circus (6) and a lot, a lot of party. Even if you don't get too drunk, because tomorrow we will give you a lot of work! Here you have the option to join a night walk in Spanish.

The day starts at St. Paul's Cathedral (1), the second largest cathedral in the world, where if you are very interested, you can take a guided tour in Spanish. Although good, the advice is to start with an energetic English breakfast, which you are in London!

After the visit go to see the Tower of London (2). Here you will know something more about its murky past, its crows and the crown jewels (book the ticket online). The next stop is the Tower Bridge (3), the most beautiful and famous bridge in London: do not be scratchy with the photos that the place is very photogenic!

To eat we advise you to go for a walk to the nearby Borough Market (4), leaving on your right the London Bridge (5), and there try some of the many delicacies they offer. And to lower the food? Nothing better than a good walk, and for this we recommend you get to the Tate Modern (6) and there, soak up modern art.

The next step? Nothing better than going to the trendiest neighborhood: Shoreditch (7), where between modern stores, street markets and a lot of Street Art, you will end the day tired, but very satisfied!

The last day of our itinerary through London is going to be a total street: in the morning we recommend a walk in Hyde Park (1), one of the most beautiful parks in the city (if it's Sunday go to Speaker's Corner and freak out!). The next thing will be to discover the neighborhood of Notting Hill (2) with the Portobello Market (3) and its colorful houses. The antiquarian market takes place on Saturdays (we give you more tips like this in our “tips for traveling to London” article)

After a few relaxing hours completely change the stage in Camden Town (4). It is the most alternative heart, rock, punk, metalhead of London, where you can walk between colorful stands and find the odd jewel. If it is time to fill the crop, the offer of street food is large and very rich.

And to say goodbye to London, nothing better than seeing it from a privileged panorama. If you have no budget problems you have the option of uploading to London Eye (5), you can book the tickets here. If you go fairer, there will always be Primrose Hill (6)!

But not always the best views are obtained from the heights, if you travel as a couple you can finish the trip in a romantic plan in a Thames cruise at sunset, from where you will contemplate London from a different point of view. This includes a glass of champagne, canapés and live music.

The itinerary that we have proposed is for visit London for free in 3 days. However, it is always advisable to include some guided tours and tours with which you will discover the city and its treasures further. These are our favorites:

→ Free London tour essential
→ Route of Jack the Ripper
→ Tour of mysteries and legends in London
→ Alternative London tour
→ Full London tour with tickets (more than 8 hours touring London, all inclusive)

If you plan to enter many paid sites in London, it is best to take one of the tourist passes that include entry to all of them. These are the two alternatives:

→ London Pass, works with credit, which is subtracted as you make the visits. There are 1 or several days.

→ London Explorer Pass, with which you can choose between 3, 5 or 7 attractions, instead of days.
