We had read that eating cheap in San Andres was very complicated, but we didn't think so, with nuances. Yes there are expensive sites, with prices rather "European", and the average price is perhaps a little above other places in Colombia. But there are also quite a few options to eat for $ 15,000-20,000 (and even less!). Next we will recommend you 5 restaurants where to eat in San Andrés Good and cheap.

We had dinner here since this place was very close to our accommodation and it was a success: for $ 15,000 we ordered the meatball dish that was good-and-good. It is served with soup (fish or vegetables) and includes a drink (water or soda). The dish is plentiful: it has two huge and very tasty meatballs). They also serve fish / meat dishes ... average prices: $ 15,000-18,000.

We ate for $ 15,000-18,000 and here you have to get carried away by the waitress depending on what you have on the day. We taste delicious fried fish and grilled meat, accompanied by fish soup, coconut rice, patacones and avocado salad. The place is very simple, come on, they are wooden tables placed on the street, there is no charm or nothing but the food was very tasty and many locals ate there.

Let's see, it seems crazy to eat in a pizzeria when you have available seafood dishes and fresh fish. But if your body asks you something known, this is a good place and the truth is that the pizza was better than we thought! In addition, from 12 to 17 they have a menu for $ 12,000 that includes personal pizza (tiny, but for us enough) and soda. Do not expect a charming place, rather it is Telepizza type, but the important thing is to fill the belly!

Grilled skewers, arepas, empanadillas ... in this place they prepare perfect takeaway food to mount it to your roll on the seafront. The food is cheap and very tasty. Tip: to drink, stop by the “Cosechas” juice shop on the seafront and have a natural fruit juice. They are delicious and you will have a very rich dinner for a few pesos!

They recommended it to us on Instagram and, after considering going or not (it's quite expensive, we are not going to lie), we decided that one day is a day and that at “European” prices it was cheap hehe. So here we went, we ordered a seafood casserole ($ 49,000) and an octopus at 3 sauces ($ 48,000). Both dishes very rich, but we especially recommend the casserole (there are also rice dishes that looked very good). We also ordered a brownie with ice cream and a volcano with ice cream ($ 7,000 each) and uff, everything was VERY delicious. We had read that the attention of the staff is somewhat cold but they personally treated us very well! Tip: it is in front of a beautiful beach. Tip: if you want a table with views and you are in high season, you have to book!

There is also a very cheap option and it is to go along the promenade, in the northern part, at noon, where some ladies put some tables with some great homemade stews. We always had a full belly as long as we passed, but it seemed to us that it looked good. Of course, we could not resist the biscuits of one of them.

And if you want to treat yourself we recommend you try the Restaurant The Regatta, one of the best on the whole island. They also have very good reviews of the restaurant Juan's Rib and the Peruvian cuisine of Peru Wok. Here we leave it 😉
